Justine O'Donnell
Dr. Justine O'Donnell was born and raised in Billings, Montana. She began her undergraduate studies in Wyoming before returning home to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Montana State University, graduating in 2021.
Dr. O'Donnell earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025 through the Washington-Idaho-Montana-Utah (WIMU) Regional Program, completing her veterinary education through Washington State University. Following graduation, she completed a rotating small animal internship at MSPCA–Angell Animal Medical Center, where she trained alongside specialists in a wide range of disciplines, including surgery, internal medicine specialities, and emergency critical care medicine. Through her internship experience, she discovered a particular passion for emergency medicine and is excited to continue her career as an Emergency Doctor at Boston West Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital.
Her veterinary training has provided experience working with small animals, large animals, and exotic species, giving her a broad foundation in veterinary medicine. She especially enjoys the fast-paced and collaborative nature of emergency practice and is dedicated to providing compassionate care to pets and their families during critical moments.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. O'Donnell enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, pottery, and returning to Montana whenever she can to be with family, friends, and the mountains she calls home.
