Zacharie Wund

Dr. Zacharie Wund was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University before receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Following veterinary school, Dr. Wund completed a small animal rotating internship and a three-year residency in small animal surgery at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Wund is excited to return to the Northeast and join the team at Boston West Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. His clinical interests include a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, including minimally invasive surgical options. He has a particular passion for emergency and trauma surgery, fracture repair, and the surgical management of brachycephalic airway syndrome.

Dr. Wund is passionate about providing thoughtful, high-quality surgical care and looks forward to serving pets, their families, and the veterinary community throughout the region.

Outside of the hospital, Zach enjoys exploring new places around the city, spending time by the water, going to concerts, watching movies, and spending time with his family, friends, and pets.
