The veterinary team at Boston West’s veterinary orthopedic surgery center specializes in all facets of orthopedic care for your pet. As veterinary orthopedic surgeons, we offer a wealth of expertise in helping you optimize your pet’s mobility through specialized orthopedic surgeries and treatments. Our team focuses on restoring mobility, optimizing joint function, improving range of motion, and alleviating the pain that is associated with orthopedic disease and injury. Additional Services
We work side by side with the Boston West 24-hour emergency department to ensure that patients in need of overnight observation following surgery are well cared for. Our team works collaboratively with our sister hospital, Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, in Woburn. If your pet needs additional inpatient or outpatient services, such as critical care, longer-term hospitalization, MRI, or Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, we will work with you and a surgeon at Mass Vet to ensure he or she receives the care needed. This intensely specialized yet collaborative approach allows the team at Boston West to focus directly on your pet’s orthopedic and mobility needs while still prioritizing your pet’s complete medical picture.
